Two people ınjured in two traffic accidents in Famagusta
In a traffic accident that occurred today on the Famagusta-Nicosia main road, one person sustained minor injuries.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, a sedan car with license plate NM 009, driven by a 25-year-old named Mehmet Bakır, was traveling carelessly towards Nicosia on the Famagusta-Nicosia main road. Near Pirhan, the driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the left side of the road, and collided with an acacia tree.
Mehmet Bakır, who sustained minor injuries in the accident, was taken to Famagusta State Hospital for treatment and was discharged after receiving medical care.

Meanwhile, in Famagusta, on Mustafa Kemal Boulevard, a vehicle with license plate NY 735, driven by a 33-year-old named Ahmet Altundemir, was traveling northbound. As the vehicle approached the Sema Mebran Water Company on the left side of the road, the driver lost control due to negligence and collided with the curb stones. The vehicle then veered uncontrollably forward and crashed into a pine tree on a soil embankment.
Ahmet Altundemir, who was injured in the accident, was taken to Famagusta State Hospital for treatment and is currently under observation.
