New commanders appointed for KTBK and GKK
Major General Sebahattin Kılınç has been appointed as the Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces (KTBK), while Major General Osman Aytaç will assume the role of Commander of the Security Forces (GKK).
Major General Sebahattin Kılınç has been appointed as the Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces (KTBK). Additionally, Major General Osman Aytaç will take on the position of Commander of the Security Forces (GKK).
In the new command hierarchy, Major General Sebahattin Kılınç will assume the role of Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces, Major General Osman Aytaç will become the Commander of the Security Forces, Brigadier General Rıfat Dönel will take command of the 28th Mechanized Infantry Division, Brigadier General Hasan Ceylan will lead the 39th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and Brigadier General Üzeyir Durmuş will serve as the Commander of the 14th Armored Brigade.
The new appointments came into effect after being published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Turkey.
