Süleyman Ergüçlü farewelled on his final journey
Esteemed journalist Süleyman Ergüçlü, after a funeral ceremony attended by hundreds of people at Lefkoşa Cemetery, has been farewelled on his final journey.
Süleyman Ergüçlü, a prominent figure in the Turkish Cypriot press, who passed away on August 14th, bid farewell to his loved ones today.
Following memorial services held at Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK), Kıbrıs Gazetesi, and the Cyprus Turkish Journalists Association (KTGB), Süleyman Ergüçlü's body was laid to rest at Lefkoşa Cemetery after the funeral prayer.
Many of Süleyman Ergüçlü's admirers, politicians, and journalists attended the funeral ceremony held in the capital city of Lefkoşa to say their final goodbyes to the journalist who left the country mourning his loss.
