Biologists Association Joins "Break Free From Plastic"
The Biologists Association has become a member of the international organization "Break Free From Plastic," which aims to reduce the environmental and public health impact of plastic usage.
As a member of the European Countries Biologists Association (ECBA), the Biologists Association has joined the international platform to represent the country. Their goal is to address the pollution caused by plastic usage and alleviate its impact on the environment and public health through their membership in "Break Free From Plastic."
In a written statement, President Hatice Benan stated, "Among the main reasons for our association's membership in this platform are to monitor global practices, increase collaboration and engagement, and to fight against the negative impact of plastic usage on the environment and public health, both on an international level and within our country."
