Traffic accident on Boğazköy - Gönyeli road: 5 injured

A traffic accident occurred today around 07:00 on the Boğazköy - Gönyeli road, resulting in 5 people being injured.

According to a statement from the Police Press Office, the accident took place between kilometers 5-6 on the Boğazköy - Gönyeli main road at approximately 07:00. A vehicle with license plate NZ 586, driven by Safinaz Küçükoğlu, 38 years old, veered to the right side of the road due to negligence while traveling in the direction of Gönyeli. As a result, they collided with another vehicle, license plate KV 460, driven by Burhan Gül, 29 years old, coming from the opposite direction. The accident resulted in injuries to both drivers and three passengers in the KV 460 vehicle: Mehmet Gül, 35 years old; Pako Mabinga, 24 years old; and Raju Ahmmed, 24 years old. They were taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment, and their medical care is ongoing. The police investigation regarding the accident is still ongoing.
