Girne Mayor Şenkul announces resolution of water supply issue
Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul has announced that the issue causing alternating water cuts in the region, related to the Turkey-Northern Cyprus Water Supply Project, has been resolved. He mentioned that if there are no unexpected problems, they plan to resume water supply to all areas starting tomorrow morning.
The Turkey-Northern Cyprus Water Supply Project has had its issues resolved, and it's planned to resume water supply to all areas starting from tomorrow.
Murat Şenkul shared the news on his social media account, stating:
"We have been informed that the necessary interventions have been made to the issue in the water supply line from Turkey.
If no unexpected problems occur around midnight, we have been informed that water will be supplied to the pipelines.
If the process continues this way, we will be able to start supplying water to all areas from tomorrow morning.
We will share the latest updates with you in the evening hours."
