The Ministry of Finance stated that the Income and Tax Department and its branches will be open to the public on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1, from 08:00 to 16:00.

In the announcement, it was emphasized that the tax amnesty would end on Monday, October 2, and would not be extended. The government decided to waive late payment penalties and late payment interest for tax payments, taking into account the economic crisis that has been ongoing since the pandemic and the financial difficulties faced by the public. It also provided opportunities for long-term installments and payment plans to facilitate the repayment of tax or public debts.
