During the inspections, 8 individuals who were residing in the city without permission and were prohibited from entering and staying in casinos were identified. Out of 2,105 vehicle drivers checked, 382 were reported for various offenses, and 2 vehicles were suspended from traffic.
According to a press release from the Police Press Office, as part of the public order inspections between 20:00 and 24:00, venues selling alcoholic beverages, nightclubs, entertainment venues, markets, and coffeehouses in Famagusta were inspected.
One person who was found to be residing without legal status in the city was arrested, and during casino inspections, a total of 8 individuals who were prohibited from entering and staying in casinos were identified, and legal action was taken against them.
As a result of traffic team inspections, a total of 2,105 vehicle drivers in Famagusta were checked, and 382 vehicle drivers were reported for various traffic offenses, including 74 for using a mobile phone while driving and 65 for exceeding the legal speed limit. Legal action was initiated against them, and 2 vehicles were suspended from traffic.
