Traffic Controls Result in 320 Offenders After Inspecting 1,450 Vehicles Nationwide
Police conducted comprehensive traffic inspections throughout the country on Friday, September 29th.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, these traffic inspections encompassed the examination of 1,450 vehicle drivers, with 320 drivers being reported for various traffic offenses.
Among these reported incidents, 116 drivers were found to be exceeding the legal speed limit, 24 were operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol, one was driving without a valid license, 24 were caught using their mobile phones while driving, and 33 were found guilty of not wearing seat belts while operating their vehicles.
Furthermore, 35 vehicles were removed from traffic during these controls.
