An accident occurred in Kyenia yesterday evening involving a vehicle and a drunk driver, resulting in injuries to four people, including three children.

At around 23:10 on Mustafa Çağatay Street in Kyrenia, 42-year-old Canan Dağ, under the influence of 149 ml of alcohol, recklessly drove her VH 655 plated sedan westward, losing control of the steering and colliding with a tree on the sidewalk.

The VH 655 plated vehicle driver, Canan Dağ, and the passengers Ahu Ece Dağ (6F), Duru Ela Dağ (6F), and Yusuf Efe Dağ (12M) were transported to Kyrenia Dr. Akçiçek Hospital.

Following initial first aid treatments, Canan Dağ, Ahu Ece Dağ, and Duru Ela Dağ were admitted to the surgical service at Kyrenia Dr. Akçiçek Hospital, while Yusuf Efe Dağ was transferred to Nicosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for observation.
