Hit-and-Run: Şarafat, Involved in Motorcycle Accident, Escapes to South Cyprus
In an accident on the Cengizköy - Yeşilyurt main road, Kudret Şarafat collided with a motorcycle, causing injuries to two individuals. After the incident, Şarafat fled to South Cyprus. The person assisting Şarafat in crossing to South Cyprus, identified as N.Ş. (E-54), has been arrested.
The motorcycle driver, Muhammad Hamad Nasrullah (E-22), and passenger Zaryap Rashid (E-19) were critically injured and are currently under observation in the Intensive Care Unit at Lefkoşa Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
An extensive investigation revealed that after the accident, Şarafat crossed to South Cyprus through the Bostancı check point. N.Ş. (E-54) facilitated Şarafat's escape to avoid legal consequences.
