US Imposes Sanctions on Four Additional Companies with Ties to South Cyprus
Four more companies with connections to South Cyprus have been added to the United States sanctions list, as reported by Haravgi newspaper.
The US Department of the Treasury has expanded its sanctions to include four legal entities (companies) linked to South Cyprus. These sanctions are part of the broader measures targeting individuals and entities involved in facilitating the Russian defense industry and supporting the transportation of weapons used against Ukraine.
The companies now facing sanctions are identified as "Azia Shipping Holdings Ltd," "Fortiana Holdings Ltd," "Bex Shipping Inc," and "Stanmix Holding Ltd." The move reflects the ongoing efforts to address activities that may contribute to the support of Russia's defense sector and actions against Ukraine.
