Kutlu Adalı's murder, which remains unsolved after 27 years, recently regained attention. Özuslu revealed that following revelations by the Police General Directorate, entry bans were imposed on the three individuals, and arrest warrants were issued in case they enter the TRNC. The names involved are Sedat Peker, Atilla Peker, and former MIT official Mehmet Korkut Eken.

Özuslu emphasized the duty to follow up, keep in the public eye, and investigate the case of Kutlu Adalı, who was assassinated after journalists Fazıl Önder and two lawyers. He questioned whether the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had corresponded with relevant authorities in Turkey regarding the case.

Regarding the "Jet dossier," Özuslu explained that it consists of four different files, two of which are against police officers. He mentioned that one police officer's file has been forwarded to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Özuslu noted that files have been prepared against two public officials and an appointed high-ranking employee of the Ministry of Health. He expressed concern about the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office closing the file without initiating an investigation.

Touching on Kıb-Tek (Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority) files, Özuslu discussed an investigation into a $6.7 million dossier related to purchases without tenders from the TPIC company in June, July, and August 2021. The report has been sent to the Financial Crime Unit, and Özuslu highlighted that the investigation is ongoing.

He mentioned that the Kıb-Tek investigation is expected to be completed by mid-2024, with the police submitting it to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Özuslu urged all relevant authorities to perform their duties without fear and assured them of the opposition's support.
