President Tatar shared the details of the meeting, stating that the main agenda was the Cyprus issue. When asked about the invitation of Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Hristodulidis to Ankara, President Erdoğan reportedly said, "There was no such invitation. Our stance on the Cyprus issue is clear on the basis of a two-state solution."

President Tatar, in his statement to Kıbrıs Postası, mentioned that they discussed recent developments regarding the Cyprus issue and also addressed the Turkey-Greece rapprochement. He emphasized that President Erdoğan stated, "Turkey's relations with Greece are one thing, and the issue in Cyprus is another."

Responding to the question of whether a meeting between Hristodulidis and Erdoğan is possible, Tatar said, "I don't think such a meeting is possible."

President Tatar highlighted that the policies between the two states were once again mutually confirmed, and economic issues were also discussed. Tatar pointed out Turkey's careful approach to the electricity issue and mentioned efforts to convince the European Union on this matter. He added that President Erdoğan showed great interest and requested sensitivity from Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz on the matter of investment in power transmission lines.

It was also revealed that during the meeting, support for the TRNC in financial terms, shaping reforms, and determining the transfer of resources were discussed. Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is expected to inform government partners and UBP deputies before the General Assembly today.
