The Arab World Welcomes UN Security Council's Decision on Gaza
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its satisfaction with the UN Security Council Resolution 2720, which calls for the immediate extension of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, ensuring its safe and unimpeded delivery and taking urgent steps to create the necessary conditions.
The Ministry hoped that this resolution would be a step in the right direction towards a comprehensive cessation of military operations and the protection of civilians in Gaza.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its call for the international community to assume its responsibilities and put an immediate end to systematic violations, including killing and forced displacement, by Israeli occupation authorities against vulnerable civilians, violating international law and international humanitarian law.
