Tatar stated, "I neither heard nor saw anything." Denying the allegations, Tatar said, "I have no knowledge, and I don't believe Mr. Fuat Oktay would engage in such a thing. I neither heard nor saw anything. It has nothing to do with me. I have also given the necessary instructions to the Police General Directorate," he added.

The claim suggests that in the alleged voice recordings attributed to Cemil Önal, who is currently detained in the Netherlands and was the accountant of Halil Falyalı, the casino and online betting operator who was murdered last year, it is mentioned that Özge Falyalı gave a $50 million bribe to Fuat Oktay to close the files in Turkey.
