Traffic Controls Result in Legal Actions Against 505 Drivers
In nationwide traffic controls conducted across the country, 2,169 vehicle drivers were inspected, leading to legal actions initiated against 505 drivers for various traffic offenses. The police carried out comprehensive traffic inspections nationwide, examining a total of 2,169 vehicle drivers.
Out of these, 278 were reported for exceeding the legal speed limit, 9 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 3 for driving without a valid license and insurance, 50 for using a mobile phone while driving, 17 for not wearing a seatbelt, 36 for driving without proper navigation permits, 7 for driving without insurance, 5 for operating a vehicle without proper permits, and 100 for other traffic offenses. Consequently, legal proceedings were initiated against the aforementioned 505 drivers, and 46 vehicles were impounded.
These measures aim to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with traffic regulations, emphasizing the importance of responsible driving behavior.
