Denktaş to be Commemorated on the 12th Anniversary of His Death

The first ceremony for Denktaş will take place at the Mausoleum.

According to the information provided by the Chairperson of the Committee for Celebrating National Days, Asu Muhtaroğlu, in the ceremony, the protocol participants will take their places in front of the Mausoleum at 10:08, and wreaths will be laid in order of protocol. At 10:10, a minute of silence will be observed. The National Anthem will be played, and flags will be raised and then lowered to half-mast.

Afterwards, President Ersin Tatar will sign the Special Memorial Book. Following this, Rauf Raif Denktaş's son, Serdar Denktaş, and President Ersin Tatar will give speeches.

The ceremony at Rauf Raif Denktaş's Mausoleum will end with the recitation of prayers.

Atatürk Culture Center (AKM)

The ceremony for Denktaş at the Atatürk Culture Center (AKM) will begin at 10:45 with a minute of silence and the singing of the National Anthem.

At the ceremony, after speeches by Rauf Raif Denktaş's son Serdar Denktaş and President Tatar, the Osman Örek Vocational High School Choir will perform and present the school's oratorio.
