The Statue Found in Ulukışla Identified as "Goddess"
The Department of Antiquities and Museums announced that the statue discovered buried in a barn in Ulukışla (Marotovuno) has been identified as a goddess statue dating back to the period between 600-480 B.C.
According to the statement from the Department of Antiquities and Museums, experts determined that the statue is a goddess statue from the Late Archaic period, dating back to 600-480 B.C.
The statue was unearthed three days ago in Ulukışla during a police operation, buried in a barn. Two individuals were arrested in connection with the find. Following the police investigation, two more individuals were arrested, bringing the total number of detainees to four.
