What Happened?
Booking.com issued warnings regarding threats to human rights, stating that Northern Cyprus declared itself the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" in 1983, and the Republic of Cyprus does not recognize its sovereignty over this region. Consequently, entries through Ercan Airport are not considered "legal."
