Prime Minister Üstel: We Must Support and Sustain the University Sector

 During the meeting, Üstel stated, "We must support and sustain the university sector."

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel received the President of the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK), Prof. Dr. Turgay Avcı, and members of the council of rectors at the Prime Ministry for discussions.

The meeting addressed the challenges facing universities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and proposed solutions. Prime Minister Ünal Üstel emphasized in his remarks during the meeting, "We must collectively support and sustain our university sector."

Additionally, it was decided during the meeting to hold another session next week to address all the issues faced by universities.
