Changes in Assignments Made in Foreign Representations
The Council of Ministers has made some new appointments and extended the terms of office for certain representatives of the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) in foreign representations.
According to decisions published in the Official Gazette, the term of office for Ayda Soylu, the Representative in Brussels, has been extended until July 31, 2025.
Emine Andız Ertürk has been appointed as the Representative to Berlin, effective from August 1. Beniz Uluer Kaymak, currently serving in this position, will continue her duties at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nicosia, as her five-year term in Berlin comes to an end.
The term of office for Mehmet Davulcu, the Representative in Bishkek, will end on July 31.
Kemal Beyazbayram has been appointed as the Representative to Rome, effective from August 1, while Mustafa Davulcu, currently serving in this position, will be relocated to headquarters.
Hakan Aksoy has been appointed as the Chief of Mission for the Stockholm Representation, and Çağrı Kalfaoğlu as the Chief of Mission for the Budapest Representation, both effective from August 1.
Murat Soysal, the Chief of Mission for the Stockholm Representation, will be relocated to headquarters, effective from June 1.
The term of office for Mehmet Dana, the Representative in New York, has been extended until June 18, 2025.
Zalihe Mendeli, the Consul General in Mersin, will continue her duties at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nicosia, as her five-year term in Mersin comes to an end, effective from August 1.
Mustafa Güven, the Representative in Doha, will also return to headquarters, effective from August 1.
Heves Gazi Emirtaneoğlu, the Information and Press Attaché at the Consulate General of the TRNC in Istanbul, will return to her duties at the Promotion Department, effective from August 1.
Huriye Hançerli will assume the position of Chief of Mission for the Doha Representation, effective from August 1.
Tahir Gazi has been appointed as the Representative to Bishkek, effective from August 1.
The term of office for Özgür Ezel, the Chief of Mission for the Budapest Representation, will end on July 31.
