The Cyprus Turkish Teachers' Union (KTÖS) emphasized the importance of "letting the judiciary clean up" while stating that it doesn't matter who triggered the efforts to eradicate corruption and decay in the country.

In a written statement, KTÖS General Secretary Burak Maviş noted that while the country struggles with economic difficulties, it also faces bribery, fraud, and corruption that have infiltrated every level of the government.

Critiquing the response to recent events, Maviş questioned, "Isn't it an interference with the judiciary for the legislative and executive branches to make statements about 'fake diplomas'?" He also criticized the visit to the Prosecutor's Office, stating, "Isn't corruption, bribery, and fraud generally indicative of a social and moral collapse? Does it matter who triggered the efforts to clean up this decay and corruption? Let the judiciary clean up."

This statement reflects KTÖS's stance on the need for the judiciary to address issues of corruption and fraud without interference from other branches of government.
