"By the permission of Allah, ISIS mujahideen can exact revenge for every atrocity you commit."

Claiming responsibility for the attack that left 143 people dead and hundreds injured, ISIS released a "threat message" based on footage taken during the interrogation of captured members of the terrorist group.

The interrogation footage of four ISIS militants captured the day before emerged, showing one terrorist being subjected to electric shocks to his genitals while others were beaten.

Experts commented on the footage released via social media, stating that "Russian President Vladimir Putin is sending a message by issuing a warning."

Following the release of the footage, ISIS made a post on social media featuring an image of a terrorist holding a knife. The post stated, "To all savage Russians! Stop torturing ISIS prisoners. Beware! Don't think we don't have the opportunity to avenge our captive brothers. In Friday's attack, we proved to you that, by the permission of Allah, ISIS mujahideen can exact revenge for every atrocity you commit."

The statement continued, "Torturing captives in your name and broadcasting their videos increases the bloodthirstiness of thousands of your brothers. This time, we will strike you in such a way that future generations, with Allah's permission, will remember you, and these past pains and wounds will be forgotten."
