Daylight Saving Time Begins
Daylight Saving Time will begin on Sunday, March 31st. Clocks will be set forward by 1 hour on Sunday.
According to the Summer Time Decree published in the Official Gazette by the Council of Ministers, on March 31st, clocks will be set forward by 1 hour from 03:00 to 04:00. According to the decree, Daylight Saving Time will end on October 27th, 2024.
The decision published in the Official Gazette reads as follows:
"In accordance with Article 2 of Chapter 98 of the Summer Time Law, the Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus issues the Summer Time Decree.
This Decree is named as the 2024 Summer Time Decree.
Clocks will be set forward by 1 hour on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 03:00, and set back by 1 hour on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 04:00.
This Decree shall enter into force on Sunday, March 31, 2024, and shall be repealed on Sunday, October 27, 2024."
