Weekly Traffic Report: 21 Injured in 62 Accidents!
During the past week, a total of 62 traffic accidents occurred in the country, resulting in 21 injuries. According to the statement by the police, covering the period from March 25th to 31st, 16 of the accidents resulted in injuries, while 46 resulted in only property damage.
Among the accidents, 22 were caused by speeding, 13 by careless driving, 8 by failure to stop at intersections, 7 by tailgating, and 12 by other factors.
The accidents occurred as follows: 17 in Nicosia, 13 in Famagusta, 18 in Kyrenia, 3 in Morphou, and 11 in İskele, resulting in a total damage of 4,450,515 TL.
TRAFFIC CONTROLS: 17,368 DRIVERS CHECKED
During the traffic controls conducted in the TRNC between March 25th and 31st, a total of 17,368 drivers were checked, with 4,781 of them being reported.

- Additionally, 1529 other traffic offenses were reported. A total of 327 vehicles were impounded, and 11 drivers were arrested.
