Serhat Akpınar, in his statement, emphasized that the decision to withdraw from the coalition government has been put on hold for the time being. He noted that the coalition government protocol clearly specifies the legal and administrative framework of ministries and affiliated departments, and efforts are made to address and resolve occasional dissatisfaction among represented institutions, which is sometimes reflected in the public opinion.

Akpınar highlighted the significant efforts made by the Democrat Party Central Administration to overcome problematic situations at certain intervals and reminded that during the recent Party Assembly meeting, a decision was made to withdraw from the government if necessary due to the continuation of issues that concern the party base.

Akpınar mentioned in his statement that due to the importance and sensitivity of the matter, National Unity Party General Secretary Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu was informed by DP General Secretary Akpınar, and the consultation of the party leaders was requested.

Akpınar emphasized that, given the difficult circumstances the country is currently facing, and relying on the leaders' perception and goodwill to solve problems through consultation, the decision of the Party Assembly will not be implemented.
