When asked about the progress of the congress preparations, Taçoy acknowledged the existence of workplace "mobbing" practices in politics, stating, "At times, you may feel like you're not part of that family." He attributed this sentiment to actions emanating from the upper echelons rather than the grassroots, emphasizing that he had never experienced any sense of detachment from his party. On the contrary, he noted that he had observed instances where the interests of the place he belonged to were harmed, prompting him to take certain actions out of a sense of belonging.

Asserting his commitment to this path without hesitation or fear, Taçoy declared, "Because my sense of belonging is to the National Unity Party." He stressed that politics is determined and conducted by individuals, but emphasized that "if those individuals bypass the decision-making mechanisms within the party and make mistakes through personal decisions without objections, the only option left will be for them to step down."

Reminding of his calls for a congress over the past year, Taçoy stated that all the warnings he issued back then are now beginning to materialize. He highlighted the fact that the dissatisfaction brewing among the UBP grassroots is beginning to lead to shifts in allegiance elsewhere. In light of this, he underscored the importance of conducting a thorough analysis of "what have we done to arrive at this outcome."

Taçoy mentioned that while Prime Minister does not provide a congress date, he operates as if there is one. He pointed out that the Prime Minister has left no stone unturned, utilizing the resources of the Prime Ministry to this end, adding, "I have no complaints about this, and if he could do even better, I would welcome it."

Taçoy clarified that he harbors no resentment or aspirations for a ministerial position, and stressed that the congress must be held by 2024 as UBP would be ineligible to participate in the elections if it is not completed by October 28, 2024.

He emphasized the necessity for everyone to accept the outcome of the congress, stating, "If we do not accept this, let's not engage in politics, let's not do politics." He asserted that there is no constant enmity in politics, noting that the opponent in the elections is a rival, not an enemy.

Taçoy acknowledged that he currently feels like a "foe," stating that similar situations have occurred within the UBP in the past. He highlighted that he had participated in various races with different individuals at different times within the party, emphasizing that he had never attempted to ostracize or exclude anyone.

Stating that "the party is a whole," Taçoy emphasized the need to embrace each other after the elections and move forward together. He said, "I competed with Mr. Faiz. If I had not accepted that Mr. Faiz won and continued the fierce competition, UBP would not have emerged with 24 deputies from the elections. Embracing each other is crucial. I can do this. Contrary to what some have said, I will not withdraw, I am a candidate. Whatever happens, I am a candidate. There is no democracy in the UBP right now, and it must be experienced. Perhaps it will be a fierce competition, but the election will end, we will embrace each other, and we will continue our path."
