437 Drivers Reported, 41 Vehicles Impounded in Traffic Inspections
A total of 2,075 vehicle drivers were checked during traffic inspections conducted nationwide yesterday. Out of these, 437 drivers were reported for various violations, and 41 vehicles were impounded.
According to information provided by the Police Press Office, the breakdown of reported traffic offenses is as follows:
- 267 cases of driving above the legal speed limit
- 10 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol
- 1 case of driving without a license and insurance coverage
- 14 cases of using a mobile phone while driving
- 11 cases of not wearing a seat belt while driving
- 28 cases of driving without proper registration
- 4 cases of driving without insurance
- 4 cases of disregarding traffic lights
- 3 cases of driving unregistered vehicles
- 1 case of operating unauthorized passenger transportation (illegal taxi)
- 1 case of applying obstructive window films to the vehicle
- 93 cases of other traffic violations
Additionally, one driver was arrested during these inspections.
