Erhan Arıklı: Possibility of Early Elections Before Presidential Election is 51%

Addressing the allegations regarding HP Leader Kudret Özersay's claims about the YDP congress, Arıklı noted that Özersay has done everything from espionage to lawyering.

Arıklı expressed curiosity about how many days a week Kudret Özersay, who works at EMU, teaches, and stated that he resigned from his position as a Member of Parliament with cheap heroism.

Arıklı emphasized that his opponent in the congress, YDP Member of Parliament and General Secretary Talip Atalay, did not perform his duties in the party, saying, "He caused a rift between me and the grassroots. Talip Atalay created a sectarian organization under us with home visits."

Arıklı mentioned that the person he hired used the terms "justice" and "transparency" against him, and those who were upset with him also used the terms "justice" and "transparency," stating, "We learned that Talip Hoca's associate professorship thesis is conflict culture..."

Arıklı stated that he felt comfortable at the congress, emphasizing that he is in the range of 65-70 percent.

CMIRS SURVEY... "WE RECEIVED 7% OF THE VOTES, THEN IT DROPPED BACK TO 1% AGAIN AFTER 1 MONTH"

Arıklı also commented on the survey conducted by CMIRS, stating that CMIRS is supported by EU funds and conducts surveys every 3 months.

Stating that it has a sample size of 500 people, Arıklı said, "They deal with landlines and publish the results they obtain to the public," noting that in all the surveys they conducted since 2016, YDP was always shown at 1 percent. "We received 7% of the votes, and after 1 month, we dropped back to 1%," said Arıklı.

Arıklı stated that he does not take the CMIRS survey seriously at all and does not even look at the outcome of the survey.

ON MEAT... "I MUST THINK OF LOW-INCOME CITIZENS AND PROVIDE CHEAP MEAT"

Arıklı also made statements about the meat issue, stating that in the study conducted, if the live animal is purchased for 250 TL, the butcher should sell it for a maximum of 550 TL per kilogram.

Arıklı mentioned the formula of establishing institutions like meat and fish institutions in Turkey and the formula of meat imports, saying that they looked at meat prices in the Netherlands and said it was 9-11 Euros.

Arıklı explained that there are 5 thousand livestock breeders and 250-300 thousand consumers, saying, "I have to think of low-income citizens and provide cheap meat."

Arıklı stated that the meat price regulation is currently being tried out and said that citizens can consume cheap meat with imported meat.

Arıklı also addressed butchers, saying they cannot sell imported meat as local meat.

Assessing the government's situation, Arıklı said, "I can't say the government will last until 2027." Arıklı said, "The situation in DP and the confusion in YDP are apparent. The UBP congress is approaching, and there are serious problems there too. According to me, there is a 51% possibility of early elections before the presidential election."
