Üstel stated, "We will await justice with a new report requested by our legal experts." The second hearing of the Isias Hotel case, set to take place shortly at the Adıyaman 3rd Heavy Penal Court, prompted the press statement from Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

Ünal Üstel extended condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred on February 6th in the Republic of Turkey, and expressed sympathy to the grieving families. Referring to the earthquake, he emphasized, "We lost our children in this earthquake, and since then, our quest for justice has continued." Prime Minister Üstel affirmed their presence in Adıyaman for the second hearing as representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), stating, "This case is the case of the TRNC, and the sorrows of the families are our sorrows. We have not forgotten our children; we will not let them be forgotten, and we will continue our fight for justice until justice is served."

Recalling the decision made by the judges during the first hearing, Prime Minister Üstel mentioned that they had completed the reports from Gazi University and submitted them to the court. Additionally, he explained that they had obtained reports from three different universities and submitted them to the court. Expressing their belief that the defendants in the Isias Hotel case would receive the punishment they deserve before the Turkish justice system, Üstel indicated that all legal experts had examined the report from Gazi University and that they would request a new independent report from the court today.
