At around 09:00 on Sunday at Ercan Airport, substances believed to be cannabis weighing 13 kilograms were discovered in the luggage of 29-year-old M.B. as he entered the TRNC.
In a statement issued by the Police Press Office regarding the incident, it was reported that during the inspection conducted by customs officials, substances believed to be cannabis, totaling approximately 13 kilograms and packaged in half-kilogram parcels (a total of 26 packages), were seized from M.B.'s luggage.
The police confirmed that M.B. has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
