During the summit, President Tatar is scheduled to address the participating Heads of State and Government and deliver a speech. He will seek support from OIC member states to end the inhumane isolation policy imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people by the Greek Cypriot leadership. Additionally, President Tatar will express gratitude for the solidarity shown to the Turkish Cypriot people thus far.

President Tatar will also use the opportunity to inform his counterparts about the current state of affairs regarding the Cyprus issue. He will share his vision for the confirmation of the sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriot people, based on the framework established during the unofficial 5+UN Geneva talks, to transition into a new and formal process.

In addition to high-level bilateral meetings, President Tatar will also grant interviews to various media outlets during the summit. He will be accompanied by Special Representative Güneş Onar and First Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hakan Aksoy during his engagements.

The 15th summit, hosted by Gambia, is held every three years by OIC member countries. With nearly 2 billion people under its umbrella, the OIC represents approximately 25% of the world's population. As the second-largest international organization after the United Nations, the OIC has 57 member states and five observer members, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Central African Republic, the TRNC, Thailand, and Russia.

The highest decision-making body of the organization is the Islamic Summit, convened every three years with the participation of kings, heads of state, and government leaders of member countries. These summits serve as forums for consultations on implementing goals and making policy decisions regarding the agenda items.
