In an incident in Kyrenia, a woman was arrested for obtaining 3,600 euros from two individuals in South Cyprus by falsely promising to provide them with identities and engaging in witchcraft.

According to information provided by the police press office, between September 2023 and March 6, 2024, S.T.G. (female, 43 years old) in Kyrenia, with the intent to defraud, made false statements to two individuals in the Republic of Cyprus, claiming that she could provide them with identities. She obtained a total of 3,600 euros fraudulently from these individuals. Additionally, it was discovered that she also engaged in witchcraft by offering to read fortunes for two other individuals in exchange for money.

Upon receiving information about the incidents, the individual in question was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
