4 Drivers Arrested in Traffic Checks, 26 Vehicles Seized
As a result of traffic inspections conducted nationwide, 4 drivers were arrested, and 26 vehicles were impounded.
According to information provided by the police press office, during the inspections carried out by traffic teams on May 5th, a total of 1,728 vehicle drivers were checked. Among them, 409 drivers were reported for various traffic violations, leading to legal proceedings against them. Additionally, 4 drivers were arrested, and 26 vehicles were impounded.
The reported traffic violations include:
- 310 cases of speeding above the legal limit,
- 11 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol,
- 8 cases of using a mobile phone while driving,
- 4 cases of driving without wearing a seatbelt,
- 11 cases of driving without proper registration,
- 3 cases of driving without insurance,
- 3 cases of applying obstructive window films,
- 1 case of reckless driving,
- 58 cases of other traffic offenses.
