The KTOEÖS emphasized that the struggle for solution, peace, and existence would continue while criticizing President Ersin Tatar for rejecting all proposals from the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General's Personal Representative for Cyprus, Maria Angela Holguin.

In a written statement by KTOEÖS President Selma Eylem, attention was drawn to the problems in the country, indicating that public services were being undermined, the people were being impoverished, and they were being condemned to price hikes, taxes, and insecure working conditions.

Criticism was also directed towards population and citizenship policies, accusing governments of failing to produce solutions by ignoring problems.

The statement highlighted that the current order could be "cleansed" with the establishment of a solution and peace on the island, considering the appointment of the UN Secretary-General's Personal Representative for Cyprus as an important development and expressing criticism towards President Tatar for rejecting all proposals from Personal Representative Holguin.

While emphasizing the desires for a solution, peace, freedom, justice, and a clean society, the statement reiterated that the struggle would not be abandoned.
