The expert report on the Grand İsias Hotel, where 72 people lost their lives, including the Champion Angels, in the earthquakes in Turkey on February 6, will be re-prepared by 9 Eylül University.

In the second hearing of the İsias Hotel case held on April 26 at the Adıyaman 3rd Heavy Penal Court, an interim decision was made to request a new expert report from a technical university, if possible, other than Gazi University.

In line with this decision, the court has handed over the file to 9 Eylül University for the re-preparation of the expert report.

KARAKAYA

Ruşen Yücesoylu Karakaya, President of the Champion Angels Preservation Association, stated in his statement regarding the issue, "We want to believe in science and the supremacy of law. We believe that experts in the field will once again present the murder that took place at İsias to the court with all its reality." said.

Karakaya stated that this heap of sand, which collapsed in 16 seconds and became a grave for their loved ones, has a scientific explanation, and expressed their belief that the experts will provide a proper report in line with this reality.

Karakaya said:

"We lost our loved ones in İsias, saying 'whatever happens', and we want to reiterate that we will fight for these people to be tried for possible intent until our last breath, by the unethical individuals who engaged in illegal activities."
