Competing with the goal of the 2024 Paris Olympics in mind, Buse, representing Turkey, participated in the Diamond League, one of the most significant athletics events globally. Our representative showcased her talent at the event held in Marrakech, Morocco, securing the fourth-place position.
Buse, who is striving for success at the 2024 Paris Olympics through her impressive performances and the points she earns from these achievements, surpassed heights of 1.81 and 1.87 meters on her first attempt in Marrakech. However, she couldn't clear the 1.91-meter height, finishing the competition in fourth place. The first place was claimed by Angelina Topic from Serbia with a jump of 1.98 meters, followed by Christina Honsel from Germany and Lia Apostolovski from Slovenia, both clearing 1.91 meters.
Our elite athlete will continue her pursuit of Olympic qualification by competing in the Balkan Championships, which will take place next Sunday in Izmir.
