In the ongoing fake diploma scandal at Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU), new developments continue to emerge. Kıbrıs Postası columnist Levent Özadam, in his column, stated that Levent Uysal was appointed with full authority over the university and that Mehmet Altuntaş testified in court confirming the erasure of school records. Özadam noted that Altuntaş did not disclose who gave the order or who carried out the deletions.

Moreover, the reason behind the erasure of records at the university, which has nearly 4,000 students, remains a significant question mark. It is also alleged that the deleted records included information indicating that Uysal and his son were students.

Serdal Gündüz, the director and one of the shareholders of the university currently in prison, is seen as a key figure in the incident.

It is also alleged that a woman working as a secretary in one of the university’s faculties, who is said to have witnessed many of the events, has not been called to testify.

Levent Özadam emphasized in his column that those responsible for these actions must be held accountable in court. "Whether they are deputies or others, those involved in these frauds will have to pay the price sooner or later... There's no escaping this! Did I make myself clear? Very soon, we will also reveal the adventures of our friend nicknamed 'Tombik' in Turkey," he wrote.
