Temperatures to Hover Between 36–39°C Throughout the Week
According to the Meteorology Department’s weekly forecast report, temperatures across the island will remain high, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 36 and 39°C inland and 30 to 33°C along the coast from 19 to 25 June.
The island will generally be affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by a hot and relatively humid air mass. The weather will be mostly clear to partly cloudy throughout the week.
Today and Friday are expected to be mostly clear with little cloud cover, while Saturday and Sunday will also be mostly clear, with patchy morning fog in some areas. Similar conditions will continue into next week.
Winds will blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong.
