Ercan Airport Passenger Numbers Surpass 3 Million in First Seven Months of 2025
Passenger traffic at Ercan Airport reached 3,102,681 in the first seven months of 2025, marking an 18.94% increase compared to the same period last year, while aircraft movements rose by 23.17%.
T&T Airport Management announced that from January to July 2025, over 3.1 million passengers used Ercan Airport for arrivals and departures, compared to 2,608,665 during the same period in 2024.
Aircraft traffic also saw a significant rise, increasing from 16,713 flights in the first seven months of 2024 to 20,585 flights in 2025.

Passenger numbers were recorded as 433,811 in January, 395,753 in February, 374,417 in March, 443,045 in April, 468,183 in May, 475,367 in June, and 512,105 in July.
Flight operations totaled 2,942 in January, 2,544 in February, 2,678 in March, 2,943 in April, 3,194 in May, 3,035 in June, and 3,249 in July.
T&T highlighted that Ercan Airport serves not only as a transportation hub but also as the country’s international showcase.
