2026 Budget Approved By Parliament With Majority Vote
Deliberations on the Central Government Budget Bill for the 2026 Fiscal Year were completed on Friday, with the 2026 budget, totalling TL 190,634,850,000, approved by a majority vote.
The Central Government Budget Bill for the 2026 Fiscal Year had been debated for 10 days at the General Assembly of the Republican Assembly. The total budget of TL 190,634,850,000 was adopted by a majority vote.
In the open vote held at the General Assembly, the bill received 28 votes in favour and two against.
The next sitting of the General Assembly is scheduled to take place on Monday, 5 January 2026, at 10.00.
