Five Public Sector Unions To March Tomorrow Under Slogan ‘No To Corruption, Poverty And Collapse’
KTAMS, KAMUSEN, KAMU-İŞ, KTÖS and KTOEÖS will gather at the Gönyeli Roundabout at 09.30 tomorrow and march to the Prime Ministry to draw attention to problems in the public sector. The five unions authorised in the public sector are organising a protest tomorrow under the slogan “No To Corruption, Poverty And Collapse.”
In a joint statement, KTAMS, KAMUSEN, KAMU-İŞ, KTÖS and KTOEÖS announced that they will assemble at the Gönyeli Roundabout at 09.30 tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 January) and march from there to the Prime Ministry building.
Speaking on behalf of the unions, KTAMS and KİEF President Güven Bengihan said the action is being organised to highlight problems in the public sector, allegations of corruption and the increasing impoverishment of workers.
Bengihan called on all public sector employees and the public to support the protest, adding that the unions will continue to voice their demands through democratic and peaceful means.
