KITSAB Promotes TRNC At Utrecht Tourism Fair 2026

The Association of Turkish Cypriot Travel Agencies (KITSAB) took part in the Vakantiebeurs Tourism Fair 2026, held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, promoting TRNC tourism on the international stage, with the Northern Cyprus stand attracting strong interest throughout the event.

KITSAB participated in the fair, which took place between 8 and 11 January in Utrecht, contributing significantly to the international promotion of TRNC tourism.

According to a statement by KITSAB, board member Çağdaş Uçaner represented the association at the fair, providing visitors and industry professionals with information about TRNC tourism, the services offered by travel agencies, and the country’s overall tourism potential.

The statement noted that the TRNC stand drew considerable attention during the fair, highlighting growing curiosity and demand for Northern Cyprus as a destination.

The Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the TRNC also took part in the fair, supporting the international promotion of the country’s tourism sector. It was emphasised that this representation, carried out through cooperation between public institutions and civil society, helped convey the TRNC’s tourism vision to a wider audience.

KITSAB board member Çağdaş Uçaner said the contacts made at the Utrecht Tourism Fair opened the door to new partnerships and contributed to Northern Cyprus’s sustainable tourism objectives.

The promotional activities showcased at the fair were described as an important gain for the country’s tourism sector, increasing its visibility in the European market.
