Some Sabiha Gökçen–Ercan Flights Cancelled Due To Adverse Weather In Turkey
Some reciprocal flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Ercan were cancelled today as adverse weather conditions in Turkey continued to disrupt air traffic.
According to information provided by Director of the Civil Aviation Department Mustafa Sofi, the Sabiha Gökçen Airport Meteorological Emergency Committee imposed restrictions on the number of flights due to the expected severe weather conditions.
As a result, the following flights were cancelled:
Pegasus Airlines cancelled PGT1912 (Sabiha Gökçen–Ercan) and PGT1913 (Ercan–Sabiha Gökçen).
AJet cancelled TKJ157 (Sabiha Gökçen–Ercan) and TKJ158 (Ercan–Sabiha Gökçen).
Passengers are advised to contact their airlines for the latest information, as further changes to flight schedules may occur depending on weather conditions.
