According to the statement, Holguín has concluded her visit to Brussels, where she met with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
The announcement said that Holguín will be in Cyprus from January 26 to 29, 2026. On January 26, she is expected to meet with the negotiators of the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot leaders.
It was further stated that on January 27, Holguín will hold separate meetings with Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman and Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides. On January 28, she will bring the two leaders together for a trilateral meeting, which will serve as a continuation of the talks held on December 11, 2025.
