Üstel stated that despite the passage of time, the pain of those who lost their lives remains as heavy as it was on the first day. He said that the Champion Angels, along with their teachers, parents and all those who perished under the rubble of the Isias Hotel in Adıyaman, have become symbols of unfinished dreams, silenced hopes and the deep collective sorrow experienced by the community.

Emphasizing that the Champion Angels will always live on in the memory of the Turkish Cypriot people, Üstel noted that commemorating them represents a great responsibility carried into the future.

Speaking clearly and decisively on the third anniversary of the disaster, Üstel said the Isias case is not closed for them, that the justice process is ongoing, and that the next stage will also be followed closely. He stressed their determination to pursue the process until justice is fully and comprehensively served.

Üstel underlined that the families seeking justice are not alone, stating that the government stood by them yesterday, continues to stand by them today, and will not abandon them in the future.

In conclusion, Üstel expressed his condolences to all those who lost their lives in the February 6 earthquake, wished patience and strength to their families and loved ones, and reiterated that they bow with respect before the memory of the Champion Angels and will continue to keep them alive in their hearts, in their memories and in their struggle for justice.
