Letimbiotis: No New Incident, Security Measures at Highest Level
Greek Cypriot government spokesman Konstantinos Letimbiotis said no new incident has occurred following reports of explosions in the sky and alleged drone activity, stressing that security measures remain at the highest level.
Speaking after public reports of sightings of aerial objects and claims that unmanned aerial vehicles had targeted British bases, Letimbiotis urged citizens to remain calm but vigilant.
According to Sigmalive, Letimbiotis confirmed that there had been no ballistic missile attack against the Greek Cypriot administration. He said all relevant authorities are closely monitoring developments and that security protocols continue to be implemented at an elevated level.
Letimbiotis added that air defence systems have been reinforced and that operational readiness has been in place since the first reports emerged. He emphasized that the situation is under continuous assessment and that the public will be kept informed through official channels.
