He said the fuel supply chain is under control and there is no need for panic. Noting that the country’s 142 stations have been monitored in real time through the fuel automation system for approximately 3.5 years, Amcaoğlu added that any short-term issues at specific stations are addressed immediately.

Amcaoğlu reported that monthly diesel and gasoline sales in the country approach 45 million liters, with 26–27 million liters in stock and 17 million liters in the supply chain. “Even if no fuel arrives in the country, we would not face problems for a month’s supply under current conditions,” he said.

Recalling that Brent crude oil prices have risen from $72 to $80 per barrel, Amcaoğlu said this has brought the 2.5 TL price increase into consideration. “We will set the prices tomorrow and inform the market on Thursday,” he added.

He also noted that the 6.5 TL increase expected over the past six weeks was covered through the Price Stabilization Fund, emphasizing that the government has made financial sacrifices to mitigate the impact of prices on society.
