Frost Expected In Some Areas Today And Wednesday
The Turkish Cypriot Meteorology Department has warned that frost may occur in some areas during the early morning hours today and Wednesday.
According to the department’s weekly forecast covering March 10–16, temperatures across inland areas and coastal regions are expected to range between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius.
The region will be under the influence of a high-pressure system during the first half of the period, followed by a low-pressure system bringing colder and more humid air in the second half.
Weather conditions are expected to be mostly clear, becoming partly to mostly cloudy from Thursday onwards.
Winds will generally blow from the north and east at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong. From Thursday, winds are expected to strengthen further, with gale-force conditions forecast in some areas.
